ANNUAL REPORTS
- Constructed and opening our fourth Community Learning Center in the rural village of Duahi. Residents never had access to formal education and their new school will significantly expand opportunities.
- Designed an innovative Vocational Education Center (VEC) for youth ages 13 to 15 to provide educational opportunities, reduce trafficking, and create paths to local employment. Construction of the four classroom VEC, and four new small businesses, was completed in December.
- Expansion of our women’s agriculture program to include a third village of women and the addition of health education meetings. This program was a priority as part of our food security efforts, because the region experienced its worst drought in 40 years, and food shortages are spreading.

- Expanding our women's agriculture farming from five to twenty-one women who each were able to sell some of their surplus harvests.
- Opening seven small businesses for vocational training program graduates.
- Increasing learning quality for our 350 early childhood and early primary students with new supplies, curriculum resources, and building upgrades.
- Having three students in our youth education program be enrolled in college - the first students ever from their villages to pursue a college degree.
- Starting a girls' club to provide tutoring and health education for girls' in our programs.
2024 report highlights
- Opened and had successful first years at both our Vocational Education Center (VEC) and Duahi Community Learning Center.
- Further expanded our health programs with additional education sessions, distribution of malaria nets, hygiene supplies for young women, and an emergency fund.
- Increased enrollments in all programs, while maintaining comprehensive approaches to address intersectional challenges.
- Continued to improve food security and purchased surplus harvests from women farmers for our school lunch program.
- Hosted a variety of events to engage our community in learning about and support sustainable development.
