Engage Globally collaborates with interns to support our community-led sustainable development programs in rural Ghana and our virtual environmental education programming. Our internships are virtual and unpaid. However, we are happy to support internships for academic credit and to help students apply for campus funding and other fellowships.

Our internships are designed to help students build professional skills including:
WE SEEK INTERNS WHO:
Are skilled in communications and/or interested in building skills in social media, marketing, story telling, graphic design, photo editing, video-editing, newsletter writing, and campaign design.
Interested in environmental education and environmental advocacy
Have experience in, or interest in learning about, fundraising
Can intern 12 hours per week (spring/fall) or 20 hours per week in the summer
Are very well organized and able to work independently
Enjoy working in virtual collaborative teams
Each intern will work on the following:
A core project (see examples below)
Fundraising – interns support one of our fundraising campaigns
Online research and other virtual tasks to support our programs
Personal professional development – resume editing, professional trainings of your choice, weekly reflections, non-profit management discussions, and Zoom meetings

Conduct fundraising research

Support our communication projects by producing diverse materials and helping to design marketing campaigns highlighting our programs in Ghana
Interns will work on social media, newsletters, graphic design, video creation, annual impact reports, and other communication materials
Helpful skills include Canva, photo or video editing, and experience using Facebook
